While we all looked super solemn on this screen shot - LOL, we were listening, sharing, understanding available District resources and exploring opportunities to strengthen relationships. Ideas discussed included:
Member Relations - Let's connect! Be on the lookout for phone calls or email communications from members. Please engage…how can our club be of service in your location, what would you like to know, share your ideas, your stories, photos, recipes, your favorite things! Tell us your most impactful experience in Rotary or what you wish to do!
Local Rotary Clubs - Attend a local terra club meeting! Share what's happening locally and how your E-club can support local community service. Apply for a matching Min-e-grant (application forthcoming) for up to $500. Report service projects including photos to My Rotary Service Project Center .
Visit a Rotary Club while Traveling - Connecting with Rotarians while vacationing is special. We have experienced such a warm welcome while visiting clubs in other states and countries. Invitations to local events, things to do from a local, hands on community service, social gatherings, playing music, snow skiing are some of our experiences. It's endless!
Join Us On-Line - Be on the lookout for future club zoom get togethers!

In additional to our migration from DACdb to Clubrunner, Paypal updated their software leaving us with another club modification. Please use this link to make club dues payments and club contributions. We will place this on our website as well. Reach out to Brian Shaw - treasurer@recswusa.org with any questions or concerns.

Rotary Club Locater Mobile APP
For the travelers out there, check out this resource! Instantly locate a “Rotary Club Near Me”, including where they meet, time, day and contact information. We are an E-club, what a great way to connect with others!
Sandy Abalos, President 2026-27 Black sand beach of Pailoa Bay - Maui
Our most recent travels took us to Maui, where the Road to Hana invited us into a slower rhythm. With every twist and turn, the road opened onto views of breathtaking beauty — lush greenery, cascading water, rugged coastline, and the vast Pacific stretching beyond sight. Coming from the pace and noise of a large metropolitan city, I found in Maui a rare calm: the kind that settles quietly over you and reminds you to breathe, notice, and be grateful.
That sense of peace also reminded me why community matters. As Rotarians, we understand that stewardship begins with gratitude and grows through action—caring for our neighborhoods, supporting one another, and honoring the beauty of the world we share. Maui offered adventure and awe, but it also offered a quiet invitation: to return home more mindful, more generous, and more committed to serving both people and place. Aloha
