Please welcome Joe Sweeney, District 5495 Governor for the 26-27 Rotary year!  One of the many District Governor responsibilities is to visit every club in the Rotary District.  Being a virtual on-line club, Joe will visit our club via Zoom on Tuesday August 11, 2026 at 8:00am Phoenix time.  We invite and encourage EVERYONE to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the Governor, connect with our E-club Board and one another.  Joe is engaging, has a wonderful sense of humor, and is very interested in meeting our membership!  Let's give a warm Rotary E-club welcome to DG Joe!

President's Corner 2026-27

Sandy Abalos, President 2026-27  Dyerville Giant - Humboldt Redwoods State Park

I recently returned home from a seven-week journey in our campervan, the Troubadour. We traveled from Los Angeles to Yosemite, then up the West Coast through California, Oregon, and Washington before continuing into Vancouver, Canada. Our route home took us through Seattle, Portland, Eugene, and Ashland before bringing us back home. Along the way, we encountered more wonder and natural beauty than I could have imagined. The journey also became a time for reflection—on the environment, on us, and on our life mission, purpose, and place in the world. In the end, the Troubadour carried us through more than miles; it carried us into a deeper appreciation for the fragile beauty of the natural world and the responsibility we all share to protect it.

As we travel through this Rotary year, let's share our sense of purpose, passion and place together.
