The is Rotary eClub of the Southwest is an online, English-speaking Rotary Club chartered in April 2004 as one of the oldest e-clubs in the Rotary network. It operates under the founding motto "Service Without Borders" and belongs to Rotary District 5495 in Arizona, U.S.A.
How It Works
  • Online Meetings: Instead of meeting in person at a fixed local venue each week, members connect via bi-weekly or weekly electronic meeting bulletins, online discussions, and Zoom socials.

  • Global Membership: Roughly half of the club's members live in the western United States, while the other half are located in other states and other countries.

  • Participation Focus: Rather than physical attendance, the club emphasizes active online participation, project planning, and global networking.

Projects and Mission
  • Global & Local Outreach: The club supports international and local service projects—such as partnering with organizations like From Books to Brilliance to provide textbooks and educational support to schools and libraries in Kenya.

  • Youth Leadership: They help fund and sponsor young leaders to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) training programs.

  • Avenues of Service: Projects span community service, youth service, vocational service, international service, and club service.
