ReCSWUSA member John Wintersteen is one of the Rotary District 5495 advisors traveling with the Interact ambassadors to Kenya with a Crutches for Africa service project.
The group arrived in Nairobi at 12:50 am after 55 hours of travel. John reports that they got through Customs and Immigration by 2:00 am and to the bed and breakfast by 2:30 am. It takes a while to get the baggage -- including medical supplies, handmade dresses for little girls and several thousand water pasteurization kits made by Arizona Interact Clubs -- stowed, covered and tied down on the roof of the mini-bus.
They are organized so they can get to the right stuff for delivery at each stop.
